We are a not-for-profit theatre company. DR. is focussed on the whole process of converting a dramatic text into a theatrical performance. D.R Theatre offers online and in-person courses in a diverse range of art forms from acting, directing, research and theatrical production.
Founded by Duman Riyazi, his efforts in researching artifacts, manuscripts, and documents to analyze history of theatre, all make this company a better place to find your niche. From Persian Theatre to Italian Theatre, he has collaborated with the world’s leading academic experts.

Duman Riyazi
Postdoc ( University of Toronto) PhD ( University of Florence) He is a Director, Manager, Instructor and researcher in Theatre and Museum area. His research expertise includes the artifacts, and handwritten documents, theatrical relation between East and West, History of Persian Theatre, Persian Comedy and La commedia dell’arte. He has authored numerous articles on La commedia dell’arte and the modernization of Persian Theatre. His publications also include translations of several plays by Carlo Goldoni and commedia dell’arte plays by Siro Ferrone. Since 2012, he has initiated numerous conferences and workshops about inspiration from Western forms of theatre on Middle Eastern ones, primarily Persian show forms. He believes that Theatre is an artistic tool that is most often employed to promote social, cultural, economic and political integration.
